A CASE COLLECTION BY CELIA VANE

CASESEARCH

120 CASES OF MURDER, HEISTS & ESPIONAGE · VOLUME ONE
THE CULPRIT IS THE WORD YOU CAN'T FIND.

One word is missing. Another appears twice. The letters left behind conceal a riddle. Every detail matters — and a finished grid doesn't mean the case is closed.

CASESEARCH is a mystery word search for adults: 120 self-contained investigations, one to a page, where finding the words is only the beginning. Look beyond the word list, question what you've found, and discover what the grid is hiding.

Three discoveries. One case closed.

CaseSearch, Volume One, by Celia Vane — book cover: a word-search grid in a red frame with MURDER, CLUES and RIDDLE circled, tagged HOW?, WHERE? and WHO?

HOW TO CRACK A CASE

Every case is a 10×10 grid, a list of 14 words and three answer lines. Words run across, down or diagonally, forwards or backwards. Fill in all three lines and the case is closed.

01. The missing word tells you who did it. Only 13 of the 14 listed words are hidden in the grid. The one you can't find names the culprit.

02. The doubled word points to the heart of the case. One word appears twice — the crime scene, the target, the meeting point.

03. The hidden line is a riddle only you can read. Cross off every word, then read the leftover letters between two matching marker icons. They spell a riddle, and its answer is one of the 14 words.
